NFL Diligence Rescues Chick Flick Season
I was so worried that Chick Flick Season was going to get cancelled due to COVID. Some people may think of this as football season, but not this gal. Don’t get me wrong, I kind of like football. Actually, I like the “season” of football. A chill in the air. Colorful fall leaves. Great reason to make lots of comfort food, chili, and snacks. Excuse to drink beer most days of the week. Epic couch surfing time, which works for me because years ago my husband offered to fold laundry in exchange for uninterrupted NFL time.
Bozeman outdoor recreation is just heating up.
In Montana, we typically have some fairly intense winter weather. Temps can be low, winds can be high, and the snow can get deep … sometimes very deep. Choosing an open-air winter activity is essential to weathering the season. For many outdoor enthusiasts, downhill skiing or snowboarding is the go-to choice. Bozeman is fortunate to have three world class ski resorts, Bridger Bowl Ski Area (16 miles), Big Sky Resort (54 miles), and Moonlight Basin (56 miles) with acres of scenic terrain for skiers and shredders of all skill levels to explore. Given that there may be limited access at these locations this season, now could be the ideal time to explore some alternative cold weather recreation options.
Montana has the unparalleled ability to nurture and revitalize.
There are few things more beautiful than fall leaves on a bright sunny day, unless you are the one holding the rake of course! This year in Bozeman, the variety and depth of colors has been even more incredible than usual and a much welcome distraction. Our days have been warm, the evenings cool, and we can feel the cold days of our most magical season looming. Mother Nature has decided to give residents and visitors who love the Gallatin Valley a reprieve to breath.
